Recently, in the 2025 Zhejiang Province Dreaming Zhejiang Sings the Future Chinese Song Competition for Foreign Students, our international student LOUIS KWAME ANANI stood out from 174 contestants with his passionate performance of the classic song The Moon Represents My Heart, successfully advancing to the top 32 and ultimately winning the provincial championship award.
It is reported that this competition is jointly organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Government Information Office, the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, and the Provincial Radio and Television Group. The event aims to showcase the unique charm of Chinese music to the world through the medium of singing, and promote foreign students' in-depth understanding and experience of Chinese culture. This competition attracted enthusiastic participation from a total of 174 groups of contestants from 41 provincial universities, including Zhejiang University, Zhejiang Normal University, and Zhejiang University of Foreign Languages.
This award cannot be separated from the strong support of the school, and also demonstrates the understanding and love of our international students for Chinese culture and art, interpreting their unique Chinese style and charm in their eyes. In the future, the school will continue to encourage and support international students to participate in various cultural and artistic exchange activities, committed to spreading excellent traditional Chinese culture while promoting the exchange and development of diverse cultures internationally.
