From September 23rd to 25th, Huzhou University welcomed over 220 energetic international students. These new faces come from over 40 countries and regions including the United States, Japan, Azerbaijan, Morocco, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Vietnam, Ghana, Guinea, etc. They will study in five colleges of the school, covering six professional fields. The arrival of these new students not only brings about the integration of diverse cultures on campus, but also adds new colors to the international education of the school.

In order to ensure the smooth progress of this welcome event, the International College held a special work coordination meeting on the afternoon of September 20th. The conference is chaired by the Vice Dean of the International College, and attendees include the Foreign Affairs Office, International College teachers, secondary college counselors, and student representatives from the International Department. At the meeting, the Vice Dean of the International College gave a detailed introduction to this year's enrollment situation and made comprehensive and detailed arrangements for the upcoming welcoming work, while clarifying the division of responsibilities for each task.

As part of the preparation for the new year, the International College has carefully formed a volunteer team composed of international students, aiming to provide comprehensive support services for new students. There are many international students in the team who are fluent in multiple languages. While assisting new students with admission procedures, they also actively share their personal experiences to promote communication and understanding among each other. Through one-on-one assistance such as luggage handling and process guidance, volunteers demonstrated the hospitality of Hu Shi students through practical actions.

In addition to basic services, the International College will also organize a series of activities aimed at helping freshmen better integrate into campus life, such as campus visits and introductory education and training, introducing students to library resources, sports facilities, and other important information. In addition, the International College will continue to offer courses related to Chinese language and culture to help international students understand and learn about China.
