学生寒假时间为1月20日（星期六）至2月24日（星期六）。
The 2024 Winter Vacation starts on January 20 (Saturday), the registration time is February 24 (Saturday).
假期安全须知
Safety Reminders
1.遵守中国法律法规和校规校纪。服从学校安排，不组织、不参与违法犯罪活动。
1.Comply with Chinese laws, regulations, and school rules. Do not organize or engage in illegal activities.
2.寒假期间，需要回国或有特殊原因离开学校的同学，须提前向辅导员老师提出申请，履行请假手续，返校后及时销假。
2. Those who have to leave Changsha for special reasons must ask the counselor for leave in advance and strictly perform the leave procedures when permitted, then report the travel route to the counselor before returning back.
3.关注个人健康，勤洗手，勤通风，注意食品卫生安全。
3. Pay attention to personal health, wash hands frequently, and mind food hygiene and safety.
4.放假前确认现有护照、签证、居留许可的有效期，如已临期，请及时联系辅导员老师办理证件更新。
4. Check the Date of Expiry of your passport/visa/stay permit. If it expires soon, please contact your counselor for an extension in time.
5.禁止非法就业。外籍人员未按照规定取得工作许可和工作类居留证件在中国境内工作的，属于非法就业。
5. No illegal employment. If a foreigner works without a work permit or a work-type residence permit in accordance with the regulations, he or she is regarded as working illegally in China.
6.禁止在校内燃放烟花爆竹，如有燃放者，一经查实，视其情节轻重，给予严重警告直至开除学籍处分。
6. No fireworks on campus. Those who violate it shall be given a severe warning or even expulsion from the university based on the seriousness of their circumstances.
7.严格遵守宿舍管理制度。不在外过夜，不留宿他人；注意公寓用水、用电安全。不允许在寝室使用电熨斗等大功率电器。离开宿舍时须关闭电源、关窗、锁门，谨防触电等事故发生。
7. Abide by the dormitory management measures. Do not stay overnight off-campus or invite others to stay overnight in your dormitory. Pay attention to water and electricity safety. High-power electrical appliances such as irons are prohibited. Turn off the power, close the window, and lock the door when leaving your room so as to prevent accidents such as electric shock.
8.遵守交通规则。注意交通安全，不得无证驾驶，骑电动车戴好头盔，不搭乘无牌无证的出租车。不得驾驶摩托车。
8. Obey traffic rules. Mind the traffic safety when going out. Do not drive without a license, or take an unlicensed taxi. Remember to wear a helmet when riding an electric bike. No motorcycle driving.
9.注意人身、财产安全。提高防范诈骗的意识，警惕电信诈骗、购物退款诈骗、贷款诈骗等，不随意透露自己的姓名、护照号、银行卡号等信息，不轻信对方的指引进行转账操作。如果遇到诈骗，要沉着冷静，及时向辅导员老师求助并拨打110报警。
9. Take care of personal safety and property, and increase awareness of preventing fraud, including telecommunication fraud, shopping refund fraud, loan fraud, etc. DO NOT disclose your name, passport number, bank card number, or other information; if you encounter fraud, be calm, ask the counselor for help, and call the police 110 in time.
