The third episode of Meet the Good Life - Changxing《遇见美好生活·长兴》 from the CCTV documentary series Meet the Good Life 《遇见美好生活》was broadcast on the evening of 3 March on CCTV4 Chinese International Channel. The main protagonist was Shahonas, a Russian student from our university, who was a presenter of Jiangnan-style beauty. During her tour of Changxin, Shahonas not only experienced the performance of the Hundred Leaf Dragon Team, the ancient Chinese tea art, the heritage of a hundred years of purple sand technology, but also learned how to make asparagus dumplings and enjoyed the local specialities of lake sheep food.
Shahonas, a Chinese International Education student in the College of Humanities, came to study at Huzhou University in 2016. With a strong passion for Chinese education, Shahonas has not only deepened her knowledge of the Chinese language, but also developed an interest in traditional Chinese culture. Since entering Huzhou University, Shahonas has been actively learning Chinese and has shown great interest in traditional Chinese culture, especially Chinese martial arts. She has actively participated in all kinds of cultural and sports activities, such as the school's Dragon and Lion Dance, sports events, New Year performances, etc. She also successfully represented the school in the Dreaming of Zhejiang, Staying in China competition and achieved excellent results.
After graduation, Shahonas said she would like to become an International Chinese language teacher to promote Chinese culture, tell Chinese stories and spread positive Chinese energy around the world.
