On November 9th, we held the first phase of Chinese bridge Chinese training activity. While learning Chinese traditional festivals, we also learned more about the origin and customs of Chinese festivals.And everyone was very active in this small class. They dared to speak and dared to express in Chinese, which has achieved our original intention of making Chinese Bridge activity. How successful this activity!
First of all, the host introduced one of the most important festivals in China—Spring Festival. When she finished her introduction, we also prepared some small questions in order to check the international students’ earnestness during the class. And the international students needed to race to answer the questions to win scores for their own team.
In this sector, international students all spoke up actively and showed strong competition and team spirit.
The part which pushed the activity to the climax was to introduce the plot of our lantern riddle during the Lantern Festival.
All the international students were trying their best to think about the answer.
When they were really at a loss, we also gave them a little hint beside.Looking at their expressions of sudden enlightenment, we realized the loveliness of international students as well.
After the host introduced some major Chinese traditional festivals, this activity was over. However, our activities are not over yet. The Second Session of the Chinese Language Training Program that will be held on November 16th is also about to start!We will play five fun outdoor games, including draw something and guess, balloon attack, group word passing, microphone game, painting composition.
