In order to let international students experience Chinese traditional customs and the culture of Chinese traditional festivals, we led the international students to participate in the volunteer activity on Start of Winter that was held by community——making dumplings.
At the beginning of the activity, foreign students participated in three parts, which included chopping vegetables, rolling pin noodles, meat mixing with grandfathers and grandmothers. Under the guidance of the aunts and the efforts of everyone, it was completed smoothly.
Under the guidance of the community aunts, the international students successfully made the first dumpling. Then, the dumplings successfully appeared on the table one after another, everyone was very happy.
Finally, with the help of the community aunts, the international students tasted the dumplings they made.Everyone praised the flavour of their dumplings and felt endless after taste.
