On June 7th, the chief adviser of Azerbaijan Tourism Association led the delegation of association to visit the Confucius Institute at Azerbaijan University of Languages, and the two sides held a meeting on tourism cooperation.
During the meeting, the foreign president of Confucius Institute pointed out that the cooperation agreement in the field of tourism signed by Azerbaijan and China was of great significance, it not only created favorable advantages for the development of bilateral tourism cooperation, but also laid a solid foundation for further promoting humanistic exchange and communication of people’s support between the two countries.

The president declared that there’s a great market potential to promote tourism products of Azerbaijan and China in Azerbaijan markets. Both countries should improve the quality of tourism service and make contributions to strengthen the friendship between two countries and enhance mutual understanding.
Then, the two sides exchanged views on the development of bilateral cooperation in the training of tourism professionals and organizations and eventually reached a cooperation intention.
