On the evening of March 28th, the 2018 New Semester Academic Atmosphere Construction Conference for all international students was held in the Great Hall，
East Campus. Relevant persons in charge of International College and Security Office attended the conference. All the international students, counselors and head teachers were present. And the conference also invited the relevant persons in charge of entry and exit administration bureau and Longquan Police Station to attend the conference.
At the conference, Weidong Wu, the section chief of Huzhou entry and exit administration bureau, introduced the new exit and entry policy to the international students. He also made a detailed interpretation and emphasized on the problems about visa, accommodation and illegal work. And he required the international students to consciously obey Chinese laws and regulations. Then, Meiyi Yang, the officer of Longquan Police Station, made some suggestions on the aspects of online shopping safety and illegal exchange currency. And she reminded the international students to pay attention to the personal property safety.
Therelevant person in charge ofManagement Department of International College summed up the recent workingcondition of international students’ management, teaching and academic problems. The relevant person in charge also said that we would continue to strengthen the students’ academic atmosphere construction and the daily management in the new semester, the relevant person in charge announced the list of students who violated the rules and the penalty results on the spot to supervise and warn all the international students to confirm learning goals, obey school rules and regulations, and put more energy into learning. In order to strengthen the self-management and self-service of international students, the information about the establishment of Foreign Students’ Union was also announced at the conference.
Education Internationalization is still one of the important parts of work in our university this year. International College pays high attention to the Education Internationalization. The conference put forward higher request that international students should have a correct attitude towards learning and obey laws and regulations.Police and college will administer together to build a good foundation for carrying outsmooth work of international students’ education and administration.
