On the afternoon of May 31th, the second session of International Cultural Festival of Huzhou University grandly opened in the Student Activity Center. This International Cultural Festival took the theme of "The Belt and Road Connects You and Me, World Youth are Active in Huzhou University" to carry out,which was hosted by the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee, undertaken by International College and Foreign Affairs Office and assisted by Youth League Committee and Student Office. Mr. Liqin Zhang, the President of Huzhou University，relevant departments, the heads of colleges, the representatives of teachers and students of colleges and all international students attended the event.
First of all, on behalf of secondary college,Mr. Wenjun Hu, Directorof School of Information Engineering,delivered a speech which showed that International Cultural Festival was a great stage of self-fulfillment, self-enhancement and self-presentation for international students. It also played a positive role in spreading and sharing culture, promoting exchanges and friendship, opening international vision of teachers and students from home and abroad and disseminating Huzhou University, etc.
On behalf of international students, Carell comeingfrom Russia delivered a speech in fluent Chinese. He said that the teaching of teachers of Huzhou University is very serious and the classmates are also very friendly. We study and grow up together. In addition, the university has designed many colorful extracurricular activities for the spirits of the international students，which gave us an opportunity to understand Chinese culture, and enrich our life of studying abroad. Today，it was a great pleasure to have this opportunity to participate in the second session of the International Cultural Festival. Wish everyoneenjoy the cultural feast from international students.

The various countries’ theme cultural joint performances performed by hundreds of international students from 39 countries along “The Belt and Road “ began the International Culture Festival.The Russian students' wonderful opening dance with the lively rhythm and colorfulnational costumes instantly attracted the audience's attention. Kazakhstan students brought the fantastic traditional dance performances and students from Uzbekistan and Chad performed a crosstalk show in Chinese, bringing the atmosphere to a climax. Bangladesh students' guitar play was passionate. Students' national costumes, singing and dancing performances made us fully feel the exchanges and collisions of the world's national dazzling civilizations.

The International Cultural Festival of Huzhou University is a brand activity of our campus cultural construction, which aims at taking the international cultural festival as a bridge, reconciling the excellent culture of the world, promoting cooperation and exchanges, increasing mutual understanding and trust, and achieving zero distance contact of Sino-foreign teachers and students. This International Cultural Festival is fit with our country's development strategy of "The Belt and Road", which will take time as the axis through National Cultural Customs Exhibition, Food Exhibition, Photography Exhibition, Domestic and Overseas Friendly Competition and International Students Forum and other series of activities in order to show the non-national special culture of "The Belt and Road" along the Europe, Asia and Africa in afull range of aspects and create a strong international campus atmosphere.
