On June 12 and 13, a delegation of seven people including the executive principal of theUniversity of Northern Colorado Robin Wacker had a visit to our school in order to negotiate how to promote exchange and cooperation. The principal Liqin Zhang of our university attended the reception and the representatives of TeacherEducationCollege, Foreign Affairs Office and InternationalCollege also attended the negotiation.
Firstly, Liqin Zhang showed warm welcome to the visit of delegation. He emphasized that our university attaches great importance to educational internationalization and promoting vigorously Chinese-foreign cooperative school running program is one of significant works in 13th Five Year of our university. University of NorthernColorado possesses excellent academic power and advanced teaching philosophy, which extremely fitted in with the aspects of professional settings and subject structure, so it is the ideal partner in Chinese-foreign cooperative school running program. This talk will start a good chance to some programs such as cooperation in running school, the exchange of teachers and students and academic exchange between two universities and we hope that bilateral cooperation can make material progress soon on this base.
Robbin Wacker thanked for our school's warm reception and represented relative situations about University of NorthernColorado with PPT. She showed that beautiful Huzhou and HuzhouUniversity attracted people and she hoped to establish a long-term cooperative mechanism as soon as possible and carry out professional docking and mutual recognition of credits to promote the cooperative program of two universities go on wheels.
During the talks, the two sides also came to an argument on the in-depth exploration about Sino- American education culture, the application of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools and college cooperation, etc.
On June 20 2016, the delegation also visited Teacher Education Institute and discussed about the details of curriculum outline of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, mutual recognition of credit and cooperation model.
