Ambassadors and Officers of Several Countries Visited Huzhou University

          On 25th May, Consul General of Ukraine Consulate in Shanghai Mr. PONOMARENKO DMYTRO, Consul General of Uzbekistan Consulate in Shanghai Mr.AGZAMKHODJAEV SAIDKAMOL, Second secretary Of Bangladesh Embassy in China, Mr. ASGHAR HUSSAIN, were invited to visit our university.

         This time consulate officers form three counties, who came all the way from places like Beijing and Shanghai to attend opening ceremony of first International Culture Festival. After opening ceremony, the president of HuzhouUniversity, Zhang Liqing, met three consulate officers; related department heads of President’s Office, InternationalCollege and Foreign Affairs Office also took part in the talks.

Talks with Consul General of Uzbekistan at Shanghai

        In the conversation with Mr. AGZAMKHODJAEV SAIDKAMOL, Zhang Liqin said that the school would continue to vigorously develop the work of international education, to further expand the scale of foreign students and effectively improve the quality of students training, hoping that Ukrainian side could give us support and help. Mr. AGZAMKHODJAEV SAIDKAMOL expressed his appreciation and highly praised the good learning and living environment and education cultivation we created for Uzbekistan students. He compared HuzhouUniversity to a solid rock of mansion between Uzbekistan and China and he believed our university would play an increasingly important role in the cooperation of the two countries’ education with our developmental strength and international development strategy.

Talks with Consul general of Ukraine Consulate at Shanghai

        In the talks with Mr.PONOMARENKO DMYTRO, Zhang Liqing pointed out that Huzhou is the house of silk, the land of fish and milk, the city of culture and it is a typical representative of the southern culture. The school education in international work relies on the local advantages and adheres to the characteristics of the development of the road, hoping to carry out a full range of international cooperation and communication with the universities in Ukraine. Mr.PONOMARENKO DMYTRO showed admiration for the beautiful school environment, long history of the school and the results of the personal training. He thought that the festival was a big success and it had a positive effect on the foreign students, so he will try his best to promote the communication and cooperation between the UkraineUniversities such as the UkraineStatePedagogicalUniversity and our university.

Talks with Second Secretary of Embassy of Bangladesh

        During the talks with Mr. Hussain, the president of our school Zhang Liqing emphasized that Huzhou University is the only university in Huzhou whose development gathers this city's resources and favor, also sticks to focus on representing regional characteristics of Huzhou and hopes that we can carry out exchange and cooperation actively with Bangladesh in similar fields such as agricultural ecology. Mr. Hussain expressed warm congratulations to the success of the first International Cultural Festival, felt honored and pleased with the good performance of Bangladesh students in our school and hoped to strengthen comprehensively the cooperation and exchange with Chinese higher education especially establish relations of intimate cooperation with our school. At the same time, he invited sincerely our teachers and students to Bangladesh to visit and communication learns in order to promote friendship between Children and Bangladesh.

        It is said that the visit of important officials from embassies and consulates of three countries is an important foreign affairs work to our school. And it is the first time for us to receive a number of senior officers from foreign consul generals. The officers have given much expectation to the development of the foreign culture in our school, and they will be positive efforts to promote the international communication and cooperation of our school.
