Winter Camp of Woosong University Korea Opened in Our University

Right after the Chinese New Year and during the winter holiday, our university welcomed the students from Woosong University, Korea for Winter Camp cultural exchange. The opening ceremony presented related leaders in Foreign Affairs Office and International College, accompanied by 30 teachers and students from Woosong University, Korea.

   On the Opening Ceremony, a vivid introduction of Zhejiang province, Huzhou city and our university was delivered by leaders from Foreign Affairs Office, who also encouraged Korean students to experience the beautiful culture of Southern China.

The Winter Camp will last 10 days in total, including a wide range of courses and activities. So far the Korean students have already visited our magnificent campus, taken part in various cultural courses including Chinese Language and Culture, Basic Chinese, Traditional Chinese Food Making, Chinese Calligraphy, and have also traveled around famous cities like Shanghai and Hangzhou.

“Thank you so much for the hospitality,” said by Zhao Huanrui, a student from Korea, “This is the first time that I came to China and Huzhou. I’m really amazed  by the beautiful scenery here!”

More cultural activities will be offered to Korean students later, including Chinese Martial Arts, Chinese Music and so. Students will also get the opportunity to visit more sightseeing spots like Digang Old Town, Lotus Garden and Tai lake. The winter camp will end in Feb 27^th.

The collaboration friendship between Woosong Univeristy and our university has been cultivated since 2006, accompanied  by various cooperative projects. Ever since 2012 our university has kept sending 4 batches with more than 70 teachers and students in total to Woosong University for their “Korean Culture Winter Camp” and “Korean Culture Summer Camp”. By holding the Chinese culture winter camp this year, a new page of cooperation between two universities will be opened.
