With an invigorating autumn climate, the opening ceremony of "2015 International Rural Tourism Conference -- Asia Pacific Summit" was held on 11th September in Deqing, Huzhou. There were more than 260 people attending this conference, including experts of the UN World Tourism Organization and the APTA (Pacific Asia Travel Association), official leaders and experts from national, provincial, municipal departments of tourism or agriculture, as well as the other related associations. It was uncommon among other ones for the professional level and numerousness of participants.
Huzhou University as co-organizer of this conference,had invited our foreign teachers and international students from United States, Japan, Korea, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Yemen to participate in this convention. Through this activity, the foreign teachers and students witnessed the efforts that China have made in improving the environment and building beautiful countryside. Meanwhile, through visiting activities arranged on the agenda of conference, which are Huzhou Deqing's "Yangjiale", Nanxun's "Digang Fishing Village" and "Yiyan Mountain Villa", they deeply experienced ?xml:namespace>
During the ceremony, the Huzhou TV interviewed the Japanese lecturer Mr. Matsushita Masayuki and British lecturer Mr. Chambers Stephenfrom HuzhouUniversity. Mr. Matsushita Masayuki showed his affection to Chinese country tourism and appreciation to the typical charm of Yangtze River Delta.Mr. Chambers Stephen thought that the idea of "International Country Tourism" was novel and would be bond to speed up the changes and development of Chinese rural parts, and this kind of travel would be popular among the home and abroad.
