The Section Chief Of Sun Moon University of South Korean Li Qingwu Visited Our University
April 29th,led by the Section Chief Li Qingwu ,the delegation from Sun Moon University of South Korean visited our university. Formal meeting concerning cooperation between universities from Sun Moon University and Huzhou University was held, present persons in charge of Foreign Affairs Office.
Zhu Jing, director of Foreign Affairs Office showed a warm welcome.He stressed that developing overseas close partners is one of the main directions of the internationalization of education work in our school. South Korea is one of the most important target partners of our international strategy.Thismeeting will be a good opportunity to further deepen the implementation of cooperative education, teachers and students exchange between the two universities, academic exchanges and other projects.
The Section Chief Li Qingwu expressed his thanks for the warm reception, and introduced the brief situation of Sun Moon University, including the School characteristics, the condition of overseas students, as well as the teaching system and students management policy and so on.He hoped to establish long-term cooperation mechanisms with our school as soon as possible, promoting the implementation of 3+1, 2+2 abroad projects between the two universities.
During the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions concerning initiating Sino-South Korean language sites, international education of Business School, Sino-South Korean cooperation in running schools, models of exchange visits of teachers and students. After discussion, two university reached an agreement.
Founded in 1972, Sun Moon University is the central university of the central region of South Korea, and it was selected as cooperative pilot university in 2014. Sun Moon University has strong teachers strength, owning top-ranking teaching facilities, and its number of overseas students ranked first in South Korean, thirteenth in the world university in Asia. 42 countries and 142 Universities were networking with it. Sun Moon University has 6 colleges, 14 departments, 8 graduate schools, and 31 research institutes.
