The Delegation from American Normandale Community College Visited Our College

  In the past few days, the students and teachers who are major in nursing from AmericanNormandyerCommunity College visited our University. They have been exchanged for ten days together with our students of MedicalCollege. The principals of Foreign Affairs Office and MedicalCollege as well as the representatives of the Delegation took part in the welcome ceremony.


   At the welcome ceremony, the principal of MedicalCollege gave them an brief introduction of the history and culture of Huzhou. He also introduced the brief information about our University and the currency of nursing education. The representative of the Delegation expressed his wishes that we could promote better understanding and progress together.

   The delegation learned professional knowledge of Nursing include theory course, operation training, nursing ECS teaching. They visited the hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, Maternal and ChildCareServiceCenter and Affiliated hospital of our University to learn practical skills. What’s more, they learned the Chinese language and culture at TeacherEducationCollege, music at Academy of Art and Taichi at Physical Education College. And the teachers of Medical college invited them to have a dinner at home. In addition, the delegation was shocked by Chinese glamour when they visited HuzhouMuseum and streets. Amanda who first time came to China thought highly of this exchange activity. She said: “I feel extremely excited. The arrangements surprise me every day. It’s interesting to learn Chinese and Taichi.”Volunteers expressed their excitement as well. MiaoshuangMo said: “We became good friends in a couple of days. It’s intelligent for them to understand me even I only say a few words. So I’m badly in need of improving my English. They’re devotion to inform me of American custom.”


  MedicalCollege arranged nursing postgraduates and undergraduates students to accompany them for this exchange activity. It laid the foundation of more cooperation.
