On the afternoon of March 15th, 2024, five international students from Huzhou University participated in the painting activity of Ziyun Community. With population growth and technological development, water resources on Earth are increasingly decreasing and suffering from pollution. The significance of this event is to raise awareness among more people about the importance of protecting water resources.
活动伊始，绘画专业的学生指导留学生们在帆布包上作画，主题与节约水资源相关。
At the beginning of the activity, students majoring in painting guided international students to paint on canvas bags with a theme related to water conservation.
接着，留学生们开启了巡河之旅，捡拾河边的垃圾，净化河岸环境。工作人员提供了仪器，并科普了测试水质的方法，让留学生们亲身体验。
Then, the international students embarked on a river tour, picking up trash along the river and purifying the riverbank environment. The staff provided instruments and explained the methods of testing water quality, allowing the international students to experience it firsthand.
之后，他们了解到保护水资源和节约用水的重要性，还学习了一些治水的基本原理。最终，活动在大家的欢声笑语和一张合影中圆满结束。
After that, they learnt about the importance of protecting water resources and saving water. They also learnt some basic principles of water controlling. At last, the event ended successfully in the everyone’ s laughter and a group photo of them.
此次活动不仅宣传了保护水资源的重要性，也让我们深切体会到水质检测员和环卫工的艰辛，更以生动形象的方式，将爱护环境的意识广泛传播。
This event not only spreads the importance of water resources’ protection, but also let us acknowledge the hardships of water quality inspectors and sanitation workers deeply. It widens the spreading of the awareness of caring for the environment in a more vivid way.
